There are so many decisions to make when you are planning a wedding. Date, venue, flowers, centerpieces... the dress! Well you are in luck. We can help with one decision right now.
Should you do a First Look with your groom before the ceremony? The answer: Yes.
Are you asking yourself right now "isn't it bad luck? Won't it ruin THE moment?" We get it. That magical moment, when your groom sees you walking down the aisle in that gorgeous dress for the first time, has been playing over and over again in your mind. That moment when you both realize... you're actually doing this! You want butterflies and sparks! And tears! You want a moment to last a lifetime. You want this:
Of course you do! And we want to capture that moment for you!
But first, let us share with you what we have learned in our experience photographing weddings. Your wedding day will be filled with those magical moments, but it can also be stressful at times. The bride's schedule is packed from the moment she opens her eyes on that day- hair, make-up, bridesmaids bustling about helping with all of those last-minute details. The next thing you know- EEK! it's time to walk down the aisle! What is the groom up to? Maybe he has a golf game or other fun distraction, but after he's dressed, it's a lot of waiting. And waiting. And waiting! He's used to seeing his girl every day and now, on the most exciting and day of their lives thus far, he has to wait until he's standing nervously before everyone he knows to see you walking down the aisle.
If only you both had a quiet, reassuring moment, away from all of the stressful preparations and nervous activity of the day to help alleviate any stress you both may feel. Imagine for a minute that First Look, when it is just the two of you, seeing each other for the first time on your wedding day, gazing into each other's eyes and knowing that all is right with the world. Now THAT is magic!
And as for that magical aisle moment, trust us, your First Look won't take away from that one bit. Let us tell you why. Actually, let us show you why. That sweet aisle moment that we captured above? Look what we captured for them just before that moment:
See! You really can have both! Trust us, you won't regret it!
